A huge thank you to Sarah Wynands for organising and co-ordinating the working bee on Saturday and an even bigger thank you to all of the parents and lots of grandparents who came and gave up their Saturday morning to do lots of jobs for us.
A new teacher has been appointed. Sarah Dodd is a hugely experienced early childhood teacher. Sarah will be joining our teaching team on Monday 16th September. We are very excited to have filled this role, we know that you will all make her feel very welcome.
The preschool will be transitioning to a digital sign-in system from next week. This new digital system will remove a lot on manual administration work. It will also allow us to better meet the Ministry of Education’s (MOE’s) audit requirements by having accurate time stamps on children being signed in and out.
We are very pleased to announce that Lyn will be continuing in her role as head teacher at the preschool. Lyn has been our head teacher for over 11 years and we're thrilled that she'll be staying on with us.
The new Preschool hours 8.30am - 3.30pm started last week. There are spaces available on all days so if you would like to pick up another day, morning or afternoon, please talk to Lyn and she will be able to help you.
We are writing to inform you of changes at Puketapu Preschool that will take effect on Monday 27th May.
